We love the collaboration between Etta Loves and Keith Haring, including this reversible playmat. Keith Haring’s iconic ‘Baby’ and ‘Brazil’ designs have been specifically rescaled and recoloured to best support babies visual and cognitive development. Place on the floor, it’s great for both playtime and tummy time, to encourage and engage muscles that will prepare young babies for movement and crawling.
Between 0-4 months babies are still developing their eyesight, which is why Etta Loves has rescaled and developed the high contrast black and white ‘baby’ design for those first few months of developing their sight. From 5 months, babies begin to register colour and Etta Loves has meticulously rescaled the Brazil print too, which encourages the development of the receptor cells in their eyes. Clever huh!
